What the tutor does
Every message is checked before the tutor answers. If something suggests a student may be at risk, the lesson stops and the student is shown where to get help instead.
Who can see conversations
A student's tutor and Encompass staff can read their questions and answers. That is how a concern gets noticed by a person, not just by software.
Raising a concern
If you're a parent, carer or teacher with a concern about a student using Encompass, contact the tutor directly. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
